Biography —

Professor Warren is the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the KU Edwards Campus and School of Professional Studies. She has served as Undergraduate and Graduate Director for the History Department; and Graduate Director for the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department. Warren has served on several national committees for the Organization of American Historians, the NEH, and others.

 

Research —

Professor Warren's research interests include the history of gender and race in African American and Native American education, Kansas, and the United States. She is the author of a book, The Quest for Citizenship: African American and Native American Education in Kansas, 1880–1935 and co-editor of Transforming the University of Kansas: A History, 1965-2015, and several articles.
