Africa Tamasha Week
KASC invites you to our inaugural African Tamasha Week celebration happening from March 31- April 5, 2025. We have a full line-up of events. See the flyers below for more details.
- Monday (3/31): ACSA Fundraiser, 12-2 pm at Wescoe Beach. Show off your African fashion (optional) and buy a plate of food to support ACSA.
- Wednesday (4/2): Ujamaa Virtual Colloquium,12-1 pm, virtually and in person at Bailey 204. Dr. Senayon Olaoluwa, University of Ibadan, will speak on Reflecting on the Extalgic Turn in Migration Studies. Register at https://tinyurl.com/ujamaasenayon
- Wednesday (4/2): African & African Diasporic Language Festival, 4-6 pm in Burge Union, Forum D
- Thursday (4/3): African Film Night, 5-7 pm at The Flex in Marvin Hall (216A) . Join KASC for a screening of Excuse My French, a 2014 film by Amr Salama
