Guidelines For Travel Grants
A. Ordinarily only one request per faculty member will be granted in an academic year, but faculty may request an exception if additional NRC funds are available.
B. Normally only costs associated with travel will be funded. The amount of an award will be dependent upon funding.
C. There will be one deadline annually, every September 30th. These funds can be used for travel during the subsequent Fall, Spring, and Summer months.
Foreign and Domestic Travel Grants
Generally, grants are limited to one per year for each applicant. However, if funds remain after the first round of a competition, a second application may be considered in the same academic year.
These may involve travel to professional conferences, meetings, and workshops, or to research field sites, archives, or other relevant places.
