Cody is a Program Coordinator for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Student Success.  His primary responsibilities are to help students solve problems, find the right resources they need to succeed, and coordinate programs and projects that support the College DEI strategic plan. He is an ardent advocate for equity, inclusion and intercultural communication and experience.

Cody joined the Office of the Dean in July, 2016. Prior to this position, he worked for the KU Office of International Programs as the Global Awareness Program Coordinator from 2013-2016. Cody earned his MA in Ethnomusicology (Music and Cultural Anthropology) from the University of Washington in 2008. He received a Fulbright fellowship for musicology research in Tunisia in 2009-2010, and was the recipient of numerous FLAS awards for the study of the French language and pedagogy. He has conducted research on various forms of music and performance in Tunisia, Quebec, and Ghana.
